first post...

This is before and it is really sad!  My closet is pretty small and I kind of want to kick myself sometimes because we BULIT this house!!  I was having a baby in the midst of the planning, so I must have been INSANE!!!

                                          After...

Ok, my 10 year old daughter has talked me into starting a blog, not that I never thought about it, but it is one of those things you wonder if it is worth your time.  She even named it!  The first post is a little intimidating and I have tried to think of something uber cool to write about, but in the end I just decided to just go with it!  Too much pressure!  And I cannot believe I would start in my closet of all places.  Last night I was changing all my summer and winter clothes out which is a big job because I store all my clothes on a rod up high and I have to get a ladder to switch them. But it is warm here so I needed to asap.  I was getting so frustrated with my hangers!  Just wire hangers from the cleaners.  I am probably the only person left on the planet-ok I know I am not- that still uses them!  Anyway, I just came down from the ladder and went straight to Big Lots-I had seen a lady come out of there the other day with hangers as I was going into Ace Hardware.  Anyway, they were 8 hangers for a dollar!  I think I bought around 350.  I bought all the black plastic hangers that they had.  I came home and switched all of my clothes and it made such a difference.  Everything matched and I just felt like I could see everything.  I am not great about keeping my closet clean, but I hope this will help!  In fact, when my husband came in to check it out, he said "great this will look awesome for about 48 hours!"  Oh well, I know it's not the fancy hangers that I see all the time and LOVE but these look great and I only spend about 35$!  I included my jewelry and I bought all of that stuff at Container Store.  I tend to wear my jewelry a lot more when I can see it in front of me.  I just have to add that my son and husband are at baseball practice and the girls are here with me and they are playing House Hunters International!  It is cracking me up listening to them talk about square feet and prices!  In Hawaii...which is not exactly international!

I promise I really do some interesting things in my house-I think I just had to get past this first post!
